T110E5

What is this T110E5?

This T110E5 is a variant of the main tank version, T110. This T110E5 is also known as the TS 31. This T110 project was canceled due to its size of it. The assigned duty of this tank was to pass through some small tunnels in the Bernese Alps and they were too big to do that.

T110E5

So they canceled it on the first try?

No, they did not. They tried several ways and proposed several proposals before canceling the project T110. That is how the T110E5 was produced. This was the third proposal and the final proposal that became a reality.

Proposals

They initially planned on proposing five projects. But they only built three of them. And all three of them were just prototypes. The other two are T110 Proposal 1, as known as T110E3, and T110 Proposal 2, as known as T110E4.

Origin

This was never built to use in wars. They just tried to keep the T 110 project without canceling and as a result T110E5 was created. The first tank of this series is the T 110 and this T110E5 is the sixth and last tank of this series. The place of origin of this tank is the United States. This tank was created as a heavy tank.

History

Normally when we talk about the history of tanks, we can talk it under two categories. The service history and the production history. But here, there is no service history. Because this was just a prototype. The only thing we can say about the service history of T110E5 is that it was used by the armies of the United States.

T110E5

The production history

There are a few things we can talk about under the production history of T110E5. Not as many other US tanks, this was designed and manufactured in two different tank plants. The manufacturing was done at the Detroit Arsenal Army Tank Plant and the designing was done at the Chrysler Motor Army Tank Plant. They were the best designers and manufacturers at the time.

Variants

Even though this tank was just a prototype and only one tank was built, this also had a few variants. They were the TS5, the TS6 version 1, and the TS 6 version 2.

General information

Now let us take a look at the overall looks and performances of this prototype.

The crew

The crew of the tank T110 consisted of four members. They were the commander, the gunner, the driver, and the loader. But in T110E5, it was different. It had enough space for five crew members. They were the commander, the gunner, the driver, and the two loaders. This was the plan for all the proposals.

Mobility

Now let us look into the mobility of the tank. It has a few things to discuss, so let’s look into them one by one.

T110E5

Mass

The mass of this tank was 50 tons. This was calculated without the load. But with the load, the weight limit or the load limit was up to 60.05 tons. The minimum weight of this tank in the loaded mode was 53.76.

Power

We can divide the power of this tank into two parts. The engine power and the specific power. The engine power of this tank was about 875 horsepower. And the specific power of this tank was 16.28 horsepower per ton.

Speed

When we talk about the speed of the tank, we can talk about it under three main categories. The top speed, the traverse speed, and the turret traverse speed. The top speed was 37 km/h, and the traverse speed was 30 deg/s while the turret traverse speed was 32 deg/s.

Survivability

Hit point 2 200 hp
Turret armor 254/76/38 mm
Suspension repair time 12.03 seconds
Hull armor 254/76/38 mm

T29

What is this T 29?

This T29 is an American tank. This can be categorized as a heavy tank. When you take a look at the outer appearance of this tank, it looks so similar to the previously designed German tank, the Tiger ll. Even though this tank was built with so many useful things, it did not make any difference in the wars. Because this tank was not finished building during the European war periods.

T29

Use of T29

There are a few arguments about this tank. Some say it was a waste of money and time and efforts of the engineers. Because it was not used to defend the nation. But engineers don’t agree with that. They say this was so much useful as a testing tank.

How was it useful as a testing tank?

The engineers could try so many things on this tank. So, they could be so much useful in other tanks. Like several guns, radios, turrets, engines, and many more other things. They tested various engineering concepts and artillery components on this tank. So, it was useful.

Origin of T29

The project of this T29 was started in the March of 1944. And the place of origin of this tank is considered the United States. This was designed and built as a heavy tank by the engineering unit of the united states army.

History

When we take the history of T29, we can talk about it under two categories. The production history and the service history. First, let us talk about the production history.

The production history

This tank took just a year to design. They were in a hurry to use this in war but they couldn’t finish designing this on time. The period they took to design this tank is recorded as from 1944 to 1945. Even though they did not use this in war, they built 8 of these tanks.

Variants

There were several variants of this tank. Unlike the variants of other tanks, this had its variants. They were named T29, T29E1, T29E2, and T29E3.

Manufacturer

This tank was manufactured by a company called ‘the Pressed Steel Car Company and it was manufactured under the supervision of the engineers of the Detroit Arsenal tank plant. It was the largest tank manufacturing plant during the time.

The service history

Now let us look at the service history of the tank, T 29. There is nothing much to say about the service history of this tank. As previously said, this was not used in any of the wars. So, this was used in trials only.

General information about T 29

When we talk about the general information of this tank, we can discuss it under several topics such as the armor, crew, mobility, mass, length, width and height, etc. Let us take a look.

T29

Armor

The armor type consisted of two designs. They were the cast homogeneous armor and the rolled homogeneous armor. This rolled homogeneous armor was used at the sides and the rear of the hull armor. Now let us take a look at the thickness of the armor. Let us divide it into three categories named, the hull armor and the turret armor, and the cupola.

Hull armor

This hull armor was about 102 mm thick from the front and 76 mm thick from the sides. The back of the hull armor was 51 mm thick. Finally, the roof of the hull armor was about 38.1 mm thick.

Turret armor

The front of the turret armor was about 158.7 mm thick and the sides of the turret armor were also about 158.7 mm thick. The back of the turret armor of the tank was about 102 mm thick and the roof was about 38.1 mm thick.

Cupola

The overall thickness of the cupola of this tank was about 152.4 mm thick and the roof of the cupola was about 38.1 mm thick. So, we can see that the overall thickness of the whole roof is the same. It was 38.1 mm thick in every aspect.

T29

Crew

Now let us take a look at the crew of the tank. This tank was designed to put five crew members minimum. They were the commander, the driver, the gunner or the loader, and the two radio operators. It was said that they were pretty comfortable in there not like in other war tanks.

KV2

What is this KV2?

The extended name of the KV 2 is Kliment Voroshilov 2. This KV 2 or the Kliment Voroshilov 2 is a tank series produced by the Soviet Union.

KV2

How did it get the name ‘Kliment Vororshilov’?

Kliment Voroshilov was a Soviet politician and a commissar of Soviet defense. He operated with the red army during the period of the second world war. So, these tanks were named after him because of his great service.

Origin

The place of origin of these tanks is the Soviet Union. And they produced this KV 2 as heavy tanks. As heavy assaulting tanks.

History

The history of KV 2 can be divided into two parts. As the service history and the production history. Let us take a look.

KV2

The production history

Usually, war tanks take so much time to design and produce. But this KV2 took just one year to complete the designing and production procedure. They built this beast from 1938 to 1939. And the brain behind this design was Zhozef Kotin.

Manufacturer and the variants

There were two manufacturing companies. Manufacturers were a factory called Kirov Factory and another company named ChTZ.

Variants

There were five variants of the KV family including this KV 2. They are,

  • KV 122
  • KV 8
  • KV 2
  • KV 1S
  • KV 85

Armor

When we talk about the type of armor, it was a homogeneous one. And it was a rolled one. Let us take a look at the hull armor and the turret armor separately.

KV2

The hull armor

The sides of the hull armor were 75 mm thick and the roof was about 30 mm – 33 mm thick. Now let us see the thickness of the front and rear hull armor.

Front hull armor

Front plate 75 mm
Joint plate 25 mm
Lower glacis 75 mm
Front glacis 70 mm

Rear hull armor

Top 60 mm
Bottom 70 mm

The firepower of KV2

We can talk about the firepower of KV 2 under so many categories. They are, damage, ammo capacity, aiming time, rate of fire, dispersion (at 100 m), armor penetration, and damage per minute. Let us take a look.

Damage 450 hp / 370 hp
Ammo capacity 95 pcs
Aiming time 2.90s
Rate of fire 5.45 rounds per minute
Dispersion (at 100 m) 0.57 m
Armor penetration 61 mm / 140 mm
Damage per minute 2 454 hp per minute

Mobility

When we talk about the mobility of KV 2, we have a good number of details to pay attention to. Let us see. The first thing we have to discuss is the load limit

Load limit

The load limit of KV2 as a range. It lies between 51.16 tons and 56.80 tons. So, it varies. As a heavy war tank, it should have the capability of bearing at least more than 50 tons. So, this is a fair deal. The next detail is the engine power of the tank.

Engine power

Engine power of KV2 is at a good rate. We all can agree with that. It has an engine power of 500 horsepower. And when we take the specific power of the tank, it has a rate of 9.77 horsepower. So, as a whole, this is not bad.

Speed

The next big thing about the mobility of the KV2 is its, speed. For a heavy tank, its speed was awesome. The KV2 tank had a top speed of 35 km per hour. And when we talk about the traverse speed it was about 16 deg / s and the turret traverse speed was about 14 deg / s.

KV2

Role of KV2 in the gaming world

Let us look at the max speed, power-to-weight ratio, and the engine power of KV 2 in the game.

Max speed

Game mode Max speed
Reverse Forward
Realistic 7 km per hour 35 km per hour
Arcade 7 km per hour 37 km per hour

Power-to-weight ratio

Game mode Power to weight
Upgraded Stock
Realistic 11:45 hp / ton 10.13
Arcade 21:85 hp / ton 14.79

Engine power

Game mode Engine power
Upgraded Stock
Realistic 600 hp 775 hp
Arcade 1145 hp 531 hp

Weight

Even though the above-mentioned factors changed from one another in the arcade and realistic modes, the weight remains the same. Both modes have a weight limit of tons.

Performance of KV2 in the game

Unlike most tanks, this KV2 remains a long time in the game. But if you want to hide, this is not a good tank for it. Cause it has a visibility level of 156%. So, it is so risky. Almost everyone can see this tank from a long distance. So, you have to move this from place to place. but the survivability is so high in this truck. This means that even though you were spotted at a point, you can still survive with your shooting abilities. So, no worries.

VK 36 01 H

What is this VK 36 01 H?

First of all, we should mention that this VK 36 01 H is a prototype. Which means it was an experimental tank.

VK 36 01 H

Origin

This VK 36 01 H was developed during the period of the second world war. This has been recognized as a heavy tank and this was developed through the previously produced tank, VK 30 01 H. So, the two tanks are somewhat similar to each other.

Evolution

As mentioned above, this was the next step from the German medium tank, VK 30 01 H. And then this tank led to another version named the VK 45.01 H.

Description

There was only one complete tank built. Some say that there were eight of these tanks. But as in the reports, they were just the chassis. Not the complete tanks.

Manufacturer

Somehow all of these chassis and the one complete tank were built by the manufacturing company, Henschel. This means the prototype of the VK 36 01 H was built by the Henschels. Not only the production and manufacture. But also, the design for the tank.

Why did they stop producing VK 36 01 H?

There were several reasons. But the main reason was the issue with the turret ring of the tank. It was too small to fit in with the rest of the armor.

Were not there any solutions?

There was. But they did not try them out. Because the company was too busy producing a war machine against the Soviet Union. And they could not find either time or resources for this tank. So, they terminated the project VK 36 01 H.

Built

As an average war tank, this VK 36 01 H tank did not have an exclusive point or a strong point. So, it is very likely that you could get killed if you use this tank as it is. So, there are some things we can do to ensure our safety when we are in this tank.

VK 36 01 H

What are the safety methods?

First and the main thing is to angle the armor. It is a must if you want to survive. Because the armor of this tank is not inclined at all. So, you have to angle this armor from 300 to gain maximum protection.

Development of VK 36 01 H

So far it is not the best tank. But at a point, they changed that reputation to a good one. With patch 8.8, they managed to take out the best of this tank. This is where this medium tank turned into a heavy one. Not just a heavy tank. To a heavy war machine.

Cool fact about VK 36 01 H

This is the first step of building the great tank, Tiger l. They developed that legend from this VK 36 01 H.

Modules

Let us take a look at the available equipment and the modules of this tank.

Overall performance

This VK 36 01 H tank has gone under so many changes. And yet it did not prove to be one of the best tanks. It could. But it did not. Lack of attention from the specialists was the main reason behind this.

VK 36 01 H

Transformation to a heavy tank

Originally the VK 36 01 H was a medium tank. At a point, they decided to transform this into a heavy tank. And all they expected was the best. But it was a failure.

Why was it a failure?

The armor could not get any better with the new update. It remained worthless. And when it comes to the gun choices, the 8,8 cm gun was a very poor choice they made. It reduced so much quality of the weaponry of the VK 36 01 H. and it had some serious storage issues too.

So, finally, we can say that the VK 36 01 H was a shameful waste.

VK 30.01 H

What is VK 30 01 H?

Even though we take this VK 30 01 H as a medium tank, initially it began as a heavy truck. And later with its 1.9 updates, it became a medium tank.

VK 30 01 H

Origin

The beginning of this exclusive tank was marked on the calendar on the 9th of September, 1939. And it originated in Germany. This tank was specifically designed for world war ll.

Manufacturers

The design and the manufacturing were done by the famous company called, Henschel.

Development

The company designed this tank for four full years. They designed it from 1937 to 1941. And it took two years to produce. From 1940 to 1942. So, the whole development process took six entire years. And only two prototypes were developed at the end of 1942, in September. And another two tanks were built in October, of the same year.

Evolution

The engineers of the manufacturing company used the elements from a previous project to build this VK 30.01 H. that project was called the D.W. II project.

What happened after the tank got approval?

After the prototypes completed the trial and show that they are a success, they decided to develop this VK 30.01 H into heavy tank destroyers. Then they built six of these giants and sent them to the Atlantic wall. And these latest six were built by a company called the Krupp.

Built

Let us take a look at the build of the tank, VK 30 01 H.

VK 30 01 H

Weaponry

The weaponry of the VK 30.01 H is quite awesome. Let us take a look at it.

Ammo capacity 100 pcs
Armor penetration 43 / 87 / 38 mm
Damage per minute 1 692 HP / min
Dispersion at 100 m 0.55 m
Damage 110 / 110 / 175 HP
Rate of fire 15.38 rounds/min
Aiming time 2.30 s

So, it is clear that the weaponry of this beast was in good measure.

Spotting

When we take the spotting of the VK 30 01 H it is also located in a good range. If we take the view range, it was about 350 m to 400 m. And when we take the signal range it was about 210 m – 330 m. those are some good ranges.

Crew

The crew of VK 30 01 Has consisted of five members. They were the commander, the gunner, the driver, the radio operator, and the loader. And it is said that their positions in the tank were quite comfortable compared to other war tanks.

Mobility

The tank VK 30 01 H had a pivot. And here is a display showing how was the mobility of the tank.

Power / Wt Ratio 9.38 HP /t
Speed limit 40 / 15 km / h
Engine power 300 hp
Traverse 28 deg / s

Guns

When we are talking about guns, there is a lot to talk about the guns in this VK 30 01 H tank. There were several guns under several ranges. Let us take a look at them.

7,5 cm Kw.K. 37 L/24

When we take this gun, its penetration is 43 / 87 / 38 mm. and the damage is 110 / 110 / 175 hp. The rate of fire is 16.67 rounds/min and the aiming time is 2.3 s. And this gun weighs about 780 kg.

5 cm Kw.K. 39 L/60

This gun’s penetration is 67 / 130 / 25 mm and it can cause damage of 70 / 70/ 90 hp. The rate of fire is 26.09 rounds/min and the aiming time is 2.3 s. And this gun weighs about 700 kg.

Comparison of the guns

Let us take a look at a comparison between the rest of the guns in the tank.

Engines

There are three engines in VK 30 01 H. They are,

  • Maybach HL 116
  • Maybach HL 150
  • Maybach HL 190
  • VK 30 01 H

The description of the engines

In this Maybach HL 190, the engine power is 375 hp and it has a 20% of chance of fire on impact. And this weighs 1000 kg. The Maybach HL 150 weighs about 850 kg while its engine power is 400 hp. And this also has a 20% chance of fire on impact. The last but not least engine is the Maybach HL 116. This engine also has a 20% chance of fire on impact while having an engine power of 300 hp. This engine weighs about 750 kg.

Radios

When we are talking about the radios, there are three radios in these tanks. They are FuG 5, FuG 7, and FuG 12. Let us take a look.

Radio Signal range weight
FuG 12 710 m 150 kg
FuG 5 310 m 50 kg
FuG 7 415 m 70 kg

Health

The health of the tank VK 30 01 H was at a very good measure. If we take the engine health, it had 145 scores. And the track health was 100 while the ammo track health is 160, and the fuel tank health was 150. Somehow the overall health of the tank was 700. That is a decent amount of score.

Performance

This VK 30 01 H is rather a sniper than a front raw fighter. The exclusive turret and the gun depression made this into a sniper. The gun depression of this tank is above average. And the turret is extra thick. If you learned the perfect strategic position to place this beast, it will not fail you.

Comparison

There are few comparable tanks for this tank when we consider the overall performance. The Tiger, VK 30 02 (M), and the Panther.

E-100

E-100 – Panzerkampfwagen

This E-100 looks so much similar to the Maus. But when it comes to the practicability, E-100 was a thousand steps ahead. There is a cool fact about this E-100. It has smoke grenades. When the tank is under attack, the tank can create a smokescreen in front of the vehicle.

E-100

E-100

What is this E-100?

The Panzerkampfwagen E-100 was a German super-heavy tank designed at the end of WWII. And this truck was manufactured by the Henschel’s. The origin of this heavy tank was Nazi Germany.

Evolution

The largest of the tank designs of the Entwicklung series, which aimed to enhance German armored vehicle production by standardizing on cheaper, easier-to-build vehicles. The prototype E-100’s chassis had been largely finished by the end of the war; it was transferred to the United Kingdom for trials but was later scrapped.

Growth

Waffenamt ordered the basic design as a parallel development to the Porsche Maus in June 1943. But it turned so much greater than the Maus. It was the biggest of the Entwicklung (E) series of vehicles in the 100-ton weight class, designed to standardize as many components as feasible.

Other designs of the E-series

  • E-10
  • E-25
  • E-50
  • E-75

What happened after the tank was proposed?

After the tank was proposed in April 1943 along with the other Entwicklung series vehicles, the Adler firm in Frankfurt filed blueprint 021A38300 for a super-heavy tank designated E-100 in March 1944.

What was that tank capable of?

The tank would be armed with a 150 mm and a 75 mm cannon, according to the designs. The first featured a 700-horsepower Maybach HL230 engine with a transmission and turning system adapted from the Tiger II.

Design of the tank

It has a very rare design. Even though all the heavy tanks look alike, they created this E-100 with a unique look. The reason for this was the side armor. It was curved and also the turret was at the center of the hull. This caused the revealing engines and added a unique look to the tank.

E-100

E-100

Speed

The top speed was estimated to be 23 km/h (14 mph). The second variant would use a new 1200-horsepower Maybach engine with a top speed of 40 km/h (25 mph).

Rail transition

To make rail transit more viable, the design included removable side skirts and small transport rails. This concept was quite similar to the initial ‘Tiger-Maus’ proposal but with larger 900 mm (35 in) diameter road wheels and a new coil-spring suspension in place of the stock torsion bars.

Turret

A new turret was created, one that was simpler and lighter than the Maus turret. However, numerous sources indicate that a Maus turret could be fitted.

What happened to the E-100 super tank?

Hitler paused the creation of super-heavy tanks in July 1944. And made works of E-100 a priority. He did that with only three Adler employees available to assemble the prototype.

E-100

E-100

Evolution of the final

The prototype was never built and was discovered in April 1945 by the 751st Field Artillery Battalion of the American forces. The British Army took the nearly constructed vehicle for assessment before scrapping it in the 1950s.

Comparable tanks with the E-100

Several tanks can be compared with the E-100. They can be compared according to the role, the era, and the performance.

Specifications of the tank

E-75 – The heavy German tank

E-75

E-75

What is E-75?

The E 75 is a tier 9 heavy tank from Germany.

Origin

In 1945, the Panzerwaffe envisioned the E 75 as a conventional heavy tank to replace the Tiger II. It only occurred in the form of blueprints.

Was it a part of the well-known Entwicklung successions?

Yes. This is not just a mere part. It is the first heavy tank in the Entwicklung series.

Entwicklung series

What is the Entwicklung series?

Origin

The Entwicklung series (from German Entwicklung, “development”), often known as the E-Series, was Nazi Germany’s Late-World War II attempt to produce a standardized series of tank designs. Standard designs in five distinct weight classes (E-10, E-25, E-50, E-75, and E-100) were to be designed, from which many specialized variants were to be produced.

Why did they start this E-series?

This was done to low-grade the trend of very composite tank designs, which had caused low manufacturing charges and mechanical unreliability.

What are the characteristics of the E-series?

The E-series designs were simpler, cheaper to produce, and more efficient than their predecessors; however, they offered only minor improvements in armor and firepower over the designs they were meant to replace, such as the Jagdpanzer 38(t), Panther Ausf. G, or Tiger II; and would have characterized the final calibration of the German armored vehicle proposal.

E-75, the Standardpanzer

E-75

E-75

The E-75 Standardpanzer was designed to be the standard heavy tank to replace the Tiger II and Jagdtiger. For ease of manufacture, the E-75 would have been manufactured on the same assembly lines as the E-50, and the two vehicles would have shared many components, including the same Maybach HL 234 engine.

Design

Armour

The E-75, on the other hand, would have had significantly thicker armor, and in fact, compared to the Tiger II, the E-75 had enhanced hull protection all around.

Mass and rapidity

The ensuing vehicle would have weighed more than 75 tonnes, decreasing its speed to coarsely 40 km/h. So, the speed was kind of bothering them.

What did they do to overcome that problem?

To compensate for the increased weight, the bogies on the E-75 were spaced differently than on the E-50, with an additional couple added on each lateral, giving the E-75 a slightly improved track to ground contact span.

Turret

According to some sources, the E-50 and E-75 were to be equipped with the same turret and 88 mm L/71 or L/100 gun, as well as an optical rangefinder for increased long-range accuracy (as the war came to a close, German scientists and engineers had successfully designed a’schmal’ or narrow turret and infrared lighting and sights for use on the prototype [Panther F]).

Modifications

According to other sources, the tank was to be equipped with the much larger Tiger II turret, which could be modified to house an even more powerful high-velocity 10.5-centimeter gun.

Built

This tank has robust frontal armor with great frontal sloping. It comes average with the derisory 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71, but it can also use the 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/68 from the Tiger II, so do your study before applying the E-75, except if you want a horrifying grind.

Gun

You will eventually get access to the very powerful 12.8 cm KwK 44 L/55, which packs a significant punch up close or from a distance but is relatively unreliable at range (in contrast to earlier tanks).

What made E-75 perfect?

E-75

E-75

As such, it is an outstanding brawler, perhaps the definitive classification of one for Tier 9, thanks to its higher armor and deadly deployment. The E-75 has slow acceleration, making it difficult to maneuver. While the E-75 is one of the simpler tanks to flank, its relatively thick side armor makes it difficult to damage if flanked.

Versatility in the field

Aside from speed and agility, it is a multipurpose tank. You can be a close-range brawler, depending on your harsh armor and firepower to keep you alive, but sniping is not recommended because of the poor vision, average penetration, poor gun handling, and low DPM.

E-75 at its best

This tank is a dynamic heavy of its tier, with substantial hull and turret armor and an excellent cannon. You have enough hit points to the last while under fire if your armor fails to protect you against enemy fire.

VK 100 01 P

The German heavy beast, VK 100 01 P

What is this VK 100 01 P Tank?

The VK 100 01 P is a tier 8 heavy tank from Germany. The Maus as it appeared on June 4, 1942. The 120-ton forerunner to the superheavy tank only existed on drawings and never saw duty. This vehicle was only a brief phase in the evolution of the Maus.

VK 100.01 P

VK 100 01 P

Origin

The Maus as it appeared on June 4, 1942. The 120-ton forerunner to the superheavy tank only existed on drawings and never saw duty. This vehicle was only a brief phase in the evolution of the Maus.

Why was this produced?

This massive, ungainly heavy tank was introduced as part of the new Maus line in the 9.17.1 update. It possesses incredibly strong frontal armor that can survive Tier 10 tanks, but it comes at the expense of slow speed and somewhat weak side and rear armor.

The Tier VIII German Heavy Tank VK 100 01 P

This tank has substantial frontal sloping armor and even a thick cupola! (However, tanks with strong penetration will take advantage of its massive size and easily punch through it.) It is also quite heavy, making this tank extremely resistant to ramming (And touching this tank will always do damage).

VK 100 01 P

VK 100 01 P

Built of the VK 100 01 P

With only 200mm of penetration, the default gun (10.5cm cannon) is fairly poor for its tier. When you consider that you’ll need the upgraded suspension to mount further modules, it’ll be a long and somewhat uncomfortable stock grind.

What happens when you upgrade the VK 100 01 P?

When upgraded to the 12.8cm gun, however, it becomes hazardous, with 220mm of penetration and 400 alpha damage. Both rifles have long aim times and Russian-like accuracy, making snapshotting difficult, as well as subpar reload times. At 400m, the view range is amazingly good for a heavy tank!

Movements

The movement is slow. It has about the same hp/w ratio: 8.75 hp.t, which indicates it will go slowly on hills and in general. When you are lagging behind the push, it might be frustrating. However, you have a reverse speed of 15 km/h, making peek-a-boo tactics easier and more effective.

Armor

It boasts substantial armor all around, including 200mm of sloping armor at the front! When combined with an LFP that is less than that of other tanks, this tank can be a formidable opponent to deal with. There are skirts on the sides and even on the back of the tank. It also has 1700 HP points, so you can absorb a lot of hits (even penetrating ones) before dying. This tank, on the other hand, is huge, which makes artillery aiming easier.

  • Design

Its ammo rack is massive, which implies it can be damaged or even explode more frequently. Although the sides are substantial, they are not slanted like the other German tanks. Overall, this tank is a lot of fun to use and incredibly effective against lower-tiered opponents.

There were three radios, respectively FuG 5, 7, and 12 with a signal range of 310m, 415m, and 710m.

The VK 100.01 (P) in games

This VK 100.01 (P) plays a dynamic role in gaming too.

What is the role of VK 100 01 P in the game?

With this vehicle, you have the first of the super-heavy tanks in WoT, having arrived on Tier VIII. With the thickest armor on its tier, you can perform admirably on the front lines. However, because of the enormous weight and related inertia, you should never travel alone. Maintain constant contact with your allies.

How to fight when you are alone?

If you find yourself fighting a swift opponent alone, attempt to gain solid cover with your back as soon as possible. This will keep your adversary from circling you. This is the only way you’ll be able to survive the attack.

Why is it the only way?

The VK 100.01 P is simply too slow to keep up with the opponent. Because of the weak concealment effect, driving through open fields should be avoided. In the worst-case scenario, getting discovered early will result in the loss of your tank.

What are the pinpoints of VK 100 01 P?

You, on the other hand, are most effective in frontal tank confrontations, where you may use your close-combat cannon.

What are the ways you can protect yourself?

Many opponents will be driven to despair if your armor is properly positioned. Be cautious of frontal fire from large-caliber cannons with high penetrating power. Always angle your tank, protect the underhull, and, if a large cover, such as a house, is in range, additionally protect the commander’s cupola.

You will have a lot of fun and success with this tank if you practice and pay attention to your flaws and skills. You, on the other hand, are most effective in frontal tank confrontations, where you may use your close-combat cannon.
